I believe that safe communities are built on mutual respect and strong relationships between law enforcement officials and the people they serve. That’s why I’m running for sheriff of Fayette County. Improving public safety, building trust between the community and law enforcement, and reforming the criminal justice system are essential to keep Fayette County thriving.

As your sheriff, my main job will be to ensure the safety of all Fayette County residents and visitors, and that involves more than just fighting crime. Indeed, community safety can only be achieved with public trust and transparency. Hence, I will work to strengthen relationships between Fayette County residents and members of the sheriff’s office: I will make sure that deputies and sheriff’s office personnel receive the resources and training needed to perform their jobs efficiently and to respond to the unique needs of our community in a respectful and expeditious manner. Furthermore, I will implement fiscally responsible policies to ensure that tax dollars are spent wisely.

With over twenty-years experience in law enforcement, I am committed to maintaining peace and serving others. It would be a great honor to serve my fellow-Fayette County citizens by implementing my priorities of fighting crime, jail reform, and building trust and transparency between the people and the sheriff’s office.
